No – George Harrison sings lead on Here Comes the Sun. In fact, John Lennon did not sing at all on the record because he was recovering from a car crash. (Lennon, Yoko, Kyoko and Julian were driving in northern Scotland when they had a serious car crash July 1, 1969 in the town of Golpie. Not only did Lennon miss this session, but was unable to be at the release party for Give Peace a Chance.) The backing vocals are Paul McCartney and Harrison (which they doubled to give a full effect).
